Seldorin Amber LLC uses personal information to run our handmade pyrography shop, respond to inquiries, and fulfill standard-design and custom orders. This policy explains our handling of information when you browse, contact us, or buy from us.

Information we receive

Orders and accounts: your name, billing and shipping details, contact information, purchased items, payment status, and order history. Payment services process payment credentials; do not send full card details through our contact form.
Custom work: personalization text, names, artwork or files you choose to provide, reference URLs, design preferences, and approval correspondence. References can contain personal information about you or another person. Share only what is needed and what you have permission to provide.
Messages: information you enter in our contact or custom-order forms, including the address or phone number we need to respond.
Store activity: device and browser information, IP address, pages and products viewed, cart activity, and cookie or similar identifiers collected through Shopify and enabled services.

How we use information

We use information to review requests, prepare and document agreed designs, take and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, provide support, handle returns or disputes, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. We also use store information to understand and improve the shopping experience, subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices. Sending an inquiry or placing an order does not by itself subscribe you to promotional messages.

Shopify and other recipients

Shopify hosts our storefront and provides commerce tools. We share information as needed with Shopify, the payment providers actually used for your transaction, shipping carriers, and service providers who help us operate the shop or respond to support requests. These recipients receive information relevant to their tasks. Shopify and payment providers may also process information for their own purposes under their privacy notices.

Enabled Shopify features and apps may affect how browsing information is processed, including for analytics, personalization, fraud prevention, or advertising. Your available privacy controls depend on the service, our settings, and applicable law. We do not promise that information is never shared. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or protect legal rights, or in a business transaction with appropriate protections.

Your artwork and personalization

We use customer-supplied artwork and references to review and fulfill the requested work and keep necessary order records. Providing an image does not authorize us to post it, your name, or photographs of your personalized item in marketing. We seek separate permission for that use. See our Intellectual Property Policy.

Cookies and your choices

Shopify and enabled services use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as keeping a cart, security, checkout, remembering choices, and permitted measurement or marketing. Use the storefront's cookie preferences control to review available choices. Browser controls may also limit cookies, although some store functions may be affected. Our Cookie Policy explains these controls in more detail.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, resolving questions and disputes, maintaining required accounting records, and meeting legal obligations. Different records can have different retention needs. When information is no longer needed, we seek to delete or de-identify it, subject to necessary backups and legal retention. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Shopify and other providers may process information outside your state or country. Protections and rights can differ by location; applicable transfer requirements and provider safeguards govern those activities.

Requests and applicable rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete certain information; object to or restrict certain uses; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activities. These rights have conditions and exceptions, and this policy does not imply every privacy law applies to every visitor. Where required, we accept authorized-agent requests and provide an appeal process. We may need limited information to verify a request and will not discriminate for exercising rights protected by law.

To make a request, use our contact page or call (775) 764-9509. Do not send identity documents or sensitive financial information through an order note. Shopify also publishes its own privacy notice and request tools for processing it controls.

Contact and changes

Privacy contact: Seldorin Amber LLC, 900 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807. This is our business mailing address. We may update this policy when our practices change and will provide additional notice when required.

Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Seldorin Amber LLC storefront and orders placed with us. Please read the product description and the policies linked below before ordering. If a material term is unclear, contact us before paying.

Our products and descriptions

We offer handmade pyrography and decorative wood artwork in standard designs and custom variations. Wood grain, tone, and the appearance of hand-burned lines can vary. Natural variation is not permission to supply a materially different item or overlook a defect.

A design visualization is an illustration of a proposed design, not a photograph of a finished product. Where a listing uses a visualization, its label and confirmed written specifications describe what is being offered. Dimensions, wood type, finish, mounting details, included items, and intended use must be confirmed in the listing or custom agreement before we accept payment. Unless an item expressly states otherwise, our products are decorative and are not toys, food-contact products, or equipment for a safety-critical purpose.

Placing an order

You must be legally able to enter the transaction and provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information. Review names, dates, spelling, and other personalization carefully. A custom inquiry or reference submission is a request for discussion, not an order or permission to charge you.

Before accepting an order, we will provide its material specifications, price, applicable charges, production or ship-by estimate, and relevant return or cancellation terms. If these details have not been established, do not complete checkout; use our contact page. We will not silently substitute different materials, designs, or delivery terms.

Pricing and payment

The currency and available payment methods are those displayed at checkout. Review the final total, shipping, and applicable tax before confirming payment. Any deposit, separate design charge, or installment arrangement must be itemized and agreed before payment. See our Payment & Billing Policy.

If we discover a material pricing, availability, or description error, we will explain it and seek your agreement to a correction or cancel and refund the affected unfulfilled order as required. We will not impose a higher price on an existing order without your agreement.

Custom work, delivery, and remedies

Our Custom Orders & Personalization Policy explains design confirmation and changes. Our Shipping Policy addresses dispatch, delays, and delivery problems. Our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy addresses requests and remedies, including defective goods, our mistakes, and non-delivery.

Responsible use and intellectual property

Do not use the storefront to commit fraud, interfere with its security, or submit material you have no right to use. We may decline requests involving unlawful content or infringement and will address any payment already taken consistently with the order terms and applicable law. Ownership of a physical item does not automatically transfer copyright. See our Intellectual Property Policy.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy describes the use of information by us and our service providers. A reference link you choose to visit may lead to a third-party site with its own terms and privacy practices.

Your legal rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms excludes a nonwaivable consumer right or relieves us of obligations imposed by applicable law. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a waiver of class actions. Changes apply prospectively and will not silently replace material terms already agreed for an existing order. Please raise order questions through our contact page or call (775) 764-9509.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Handmade work needs a clear production plan as well as a delivery plan. Before we accept payment, the product listing or custom agreement must state the applicable production or ship-by estimate and the delivery options offered for your destination.

Production and carrier transit

Production time is the time needed to prepare your item. Carrier transit begins after dispatch. A carrier's transit estimate is separate from our promise about when we will ship. We do not promise an event-date arrival or a rush service unless we expressly agree to it before accepting the order.

For personalized work, the order agreement will explain the design confirmation steps and how requested changes affect the schedule. An approval request does not allow us to extend a promised shipment date without handling the change properly.

Destinations, charges, and addresses

Available destinations, shipping charges, and delivery services are those offered for the order before payment. Do not assume we ship to a location that is not available at checkout. If an international shipment is offered, responsibility for applicable import charges and any known delivery restrictions must be disclosed before you order.

Enter a complete, accurate delivery address. If you notice an error, contact us promptly so we can check whether a correction is still possible. We will explain any additional charge that results from an agreed address change or a return caused by an incorrect address rather than apply an undisclosed fee.

If shipment is delayed

We must have a reasonable basis for the shipment estimate we give you. If we cannot ship when promised, we will notify you, explain the revised estimate or uncertainty, and give you the required choice to agree to the delay or cancel for a prompt refund of the unshipped merchandise. We will obtain affirmative consent where required. We do not treat a custom order as an exception to applicable delayed-shipment protections.

If we cannot fulfill the order, or if cancellation and a refund are required because the necessary delay consent has not been obtained, we will cancel and refund the affected unshipped order as required by law. Store credit is not a substitute for a refund required by law.

Tracking and delivery problems

We will provide shipment information available for your order. If a parcel is late, missing, damaged, or marked delivered when you have not received it, contact us through our contact page with the order number and a description of the issue. We will review the shipment and work toward an appropriate remedy. A tracking scan alone does not automatically end our responsibility, and you are not required to resolve our claim against a carrier before we address your rights.

For damage, keep the packaging and take photographs if it is safe and practical. Please do not handle sharp or damaged pieces to obtain a photograph. See our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

Return shipments and contact

Contact us for return instructions before sending an item. Our business mailing address is not a designated returns warehouse: Seldorin Amber LLC, 900 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807. Phone: (775) 764-9509.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

We want the item you receive to match what we agreed to make. Different rules can apply to a change of mind, personalized work, and a problem with an order. Nothing here limits a remedy or cancellation right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Before you order a standard design

Before accepting payment for a standard-design item, we will provide its change-of-mind return eligibility, the period for requesting a return, condition requirements, return procedure, and responsibility for return shipping. These terms must be visible in the listing or otherwise supplied before checkout. If you cannot find them, do not complete checkout; contact us first. This page does not establish an undisclosed return window or a blanket no-returns rule.

Personalized and custom items

A personalized item can be difficult to resell, so any change-of-mind restriction must be explained and agreed before payment. Custom work is not automatically non-refundable in every situation. A restriction on changing your mind does not remove remedies for defects, a material difference from the agreed design, our personalization mistake, non-delivery, or a shipment delay that gives you a right to cancel.

See our Custom Orders & Personalization Policy for design confirmation, customer-requested changes, and the terms a quote must contain.

Cancelling or changing an order

Contact us promptly with your order number and request. We will check the status of the work and explain what can still be changed or cancelled. Any separately charged design work, deposit treatment, or permitted cancellation deduction must have been clearly disclosed and agreed before payment; we will not invent a fee after the request. We will explain any proposed deduction and the work or costs it relates to. These arrangements cannot override a refund required by law.

If a parcel has already shipped, we will explain any applicable return route rather than represent it as an unshipped cancellation. See our Shipping Policy for delayed shipments.

Damage, defects, incorrect items, and our errors

If an item arrives damaged, defective, materially unlike its description or agreed design, or with a personalization error we made, tell us what happened and what resolution you seek. We will review the facts and offer an appropriate remedy, such as repair, replacement, or refund, consistent with applicable law. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund when a refund is legally owed.

Photographs of the item and packaging can help if they are safe and reasonable to obtain, but lack of a photograph does not automatically defeat a valid claim. Please report issues promptly so we can help; this request does not shorten a statutory claim period. Ordinary grain or color variation does not excuse a material mismatch with the order.

Missing deliveries

Contact us if an order is missing, including when tracking says delivered. We will review the delivery information and coordinate the response. We will not automatically direct you to recover the cost from the carrier as your only remedy. If we cannot supply goods or otherwise owe a refund under applicable law, we will provide it.

Return instructions and refunds

Use our contact page or call (775) 764-9509 before mailing a return so we can identify the order and provide the appropriate instructions and destination. The business mailing address is not an automatic return destination. An authorization process does not cancel a nonwaivable right.

For a change-of-mind return, responsibility for shipping and any permitted deduction follows the terms disclosed before the order. For our error, a defect, or a refund required by law, we will not impose undisclosed charges or retain amounts the law requires us to refund. Refunds go to the original payment method where possible; if that is unavailable, we will agree a lawful alternative. We will process refunds within the time required by law and explain any processing information available from the payment provider.

Custom Orders & Personalization Policy

Custom pyrography starts with a clear written agreement. A message, reference image, or completed inquiry form does not by itself create an order, reserve a production slot, or authorize a charge.

What we agree before payment

Before accepting a custom order, we will confirm the design scope, personalization text, material and dimensions, finish if any, included display or mounting items, price and other charges, production or ship-by estimate, and the relevant cancellation and return terms. Any deposit, separately priced design service, or nonexclusive design arrangement must be identified in the quote. We will not rely on an unannounced revision allowance or an unstated cancellation fee.

Reference material and permitted content

Provide clear reference links or artwork through the method we arrange. You must have permission to use the supplied material for the requested reproduction. A publicly available image is not necessarily free to reproduce. We may ask about permission, propose an original alternative, or decline a request that we cannot lawfully fulfill.

Avoid sending unrelated sensitive information. The information you provide is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Supplying artwork gives us only the limited permission described in our Intellectual Property Policy; it does not grant marketing or portfolio permission.

Design confirmation

We will confirm the agreed design and personalization before beginning the relevant irreversible production work. Check spelling, capitalization, names, dates, layout, and other details carefully. A drawing or generated design visualization shows the proposed composition; it does not replace confirmed physical specifications or promise that natural wood will exactly match a screen image.

If revisions or a proof are part of the quote, the quote must explain their scope and any further charges before you agree. We do not presume a fixed number of free revisions that has not been offered.

Changes after agreement

Ask about changes as soon as possible. Once a design has been burned into wood, some changes may require a new piece. We will explain feasibility and obtain your agreement to any new price or schedule before carrying out additional paid work. We will not make an undisclosed substitution. A change does not silently waive an existing shipment commitment or a required delay notice.

Cancellations and problems

Cancellation treatment depends on the terms disclosed before payment, the work performed, and applicable law. A custom label does not make every payment non-refundable. Our defects, our production or personalization errors, material departures from the agreement, non-delivery, and applicable delayed-shipment cancellation rights remain subject to appropriate remedies.

If we accurately reproduce a detail you expressly confirmed and later want a different detail, we will explain possible changes and any price before proceeding. This does not excuse an error we made or restrict a nonwaivable right. See our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy and Shipping Policy.

Start a request

Tell us about the subject, intended decorative use, approximate size, and any date you have in mind through Custom Orders. A requested date is not accepted until we confirm it. For questions, call (775) 764-9509 or use our contact page.

Payment & Billing Policy

Use the payment methods actually displayed in Shopify checkout for your order. Availability can depend on your location, device, currency, and the services enabled for the store. We do not promise a particular card, wallet, financing service, or offline payment method unless it is offered for your transaction.

Reviewing your total

Before confirming payment, review the item price, quantity, selected options, personalization, displayed currency, shipping charge, and applicable tax. Any additional custom-design charge, deposit, or agreed balance must be clearly itemized before you authorize it. We do not add an undisclosed custom-work fee after checkout.

If international delivery is offered, any responsibility for import duties or other destination charges must be explained before the order is accepted. A product inquiry or custom-request form is not payment authorization.

Payment processing

Shopify and the payment providers used in checkout process the payment transaction. A temporary authorization and a completed charge can appear differently in your payment account. Your provider can explain its statement descriptions and release times; we can help identify the order and the status available to us.

For security, do not send full card numbers, security codes, account passwords, or identity documents through a contact form, custom-order note, or artwork reference. If we need to clarify a payment issue, we will request only information appropriate to that issue.

Custom quotes and order changes

A quote must explain any payment schedule and the treatment of a deposit or separately priced design work before you pay. Any later paid change needs your agreement. A deposit label does not override cancellation rights or refunds required by law. See our Custom Orders & Personalization Policy.

Billing errors and refunds

If you see an incorrect or duplicate charge, contact us with the order number and a description of the issue. Do not send sensitive payment credentials. We will investigate and correct an error attributable to us. You may also contact your payment provider, and this policy does not restrict lawful dispute rights.

Refund eligibility and the handling of returned, defective, cancelled, delayed, or undelivered orders are covered in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy. We will process a refund within the time required by law, to the original payment method where possible, and explain any lawful alternative if that method is unavailable. A provider's posting time does not change our obligation to issue the refund when due.

Intellectual Property & Customer Artwork Policy

Pyrography brings an image to a physical wood surface. Buying the object, commissioning work, and owning rights in an image are different matters. We aim to make those distinctions clear before an order is accepted.

Our material and third-party rights

Store text, photographs, artwork, branding, and other material belong to their respective rights holders to the extent protected by law. You may use the storefront to view products and consider an order. Do not assume that purchasing an item permits copying its design, removing a creator's attribution, reproducing the artwork commercially, or using our branding to imply endorsement.

Some design images may be generated visualizations. The extent of intellectual property protection can differ by work and by law. We do not promise exclusive rights in a generated visual, common motif, or standard design merely because it appears on a product.

Customer-supplied artwork and references

You retain rights you already hold in material you provide. You are responsible for having the permission needed for the reproduction you request, including permission relevant to photographs, logos, illustrations, and a person's likeness. A reference URL or a statement that an image is online is not itself permission. Tell us about any license conditions that affect the work.

You give Seldorin Amber LLC limited, nonexclusive permission to review, adapt as agreed, and reproduce the supplied material only as needed to discuss and fulfill your order, communicate with you, work with necessary service providers, and maintain necessary order or legal records. This is not a general right to resell your image, offer it as a standard design, or use it in advertising.

Portfolio and marketing permission

We seek separate permission before using customer-supplied images, identifiable personalization, or photographs of a commissioned item for a portfolio, social media, or other marketing. Placing an order or approving a production proof is not marketing permission. If we request permission, its scope and any conditions should be clear.

What a purchase transfers

Sale of a physical wood object does not automatically transfer copyright, trademark rights, a right of publicity, or an exclusive reproduction license. Any special license, exclusivity, or transfer must be separately agreed in writing and can cover only rights lawfully available to grant. If you need a work for branding, resale, publishing, or other commercial use, discuss those needs before ordering.

Concerns or infringement reports

Use our contact page or call (775) 764-9509 if you believe a listing or requested design infringes your rights. Identify the work, the listing or material at issue, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to respond. We will review the concern and may request clarification, pause a listing, or decline work while it is investigated. Do not send unnecessary sensitive documents through a public-facing form.

For how reference files and correspondence are handled, read our Privacy Policy. Our business mailing address is Seldorin Amber LLC, 900 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies can store preferences or associate activity with a browser or device. Our Shopify-powered store uses these technologies to provide shopping functions and support other processing according to the services enabled and the choices that apply to you.

How they are used

Essential functions: operating the cart and checkout, maintaining sessions, preventing fraud, protecting security, and remembering privacy choices.
Preferences: remembering settings where those functions are available.
Analytics: measuring store use and performance where enabled and permitted.
Marketing or data sharing: supporting advertising-related features where enabled and permitted. The availability of a Shopify feature does not mean every feature is enabled for this store.

We do not add standalone external advertising or analytics scripts to the storefront. Shopify's platform, payment services, and any enabled apps can still use cookies or process information. Those services and their settings must be considered alongside this policy; an absence of extra storefront scripts does not mean no data is collected or shared.

Your privacy choices

Use the storefront's cookie preferences control to review or change available choices. The consent interface records choices through Shopify's Customer Privacy API so Shopify-managed services can apply the applicable preferences. Optional processing is subject to your choices and the regional rules configured for the store. Essential storage needed to provide requested functions may remain active.

You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect your cart, sign-in, or checkout. Deleting cookies, using a different browser, or moving to a different device may require you to set preferences again.

Where applicable law requires it, recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, must be handled for the relevant sale, sharing, or advertising choices. A browser's general tracking setting is not necessarily the same as a legally recognized opt-out signal. Contact us if you cannot find or operate a privacy control.

Service changes and further information

The cookies and processing used can change when Shopify updates its services or when store features change. Our Privacy Policy describes the information involved, recipients, retention principles, and requests you may be able to make. Shopify publishes information about its own cookies and privacy practices as well.

For cookie or privacy questions, use our contact page or call (775) 764-9509. Seldorin Amber LLC's business mailing address is 900 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807.

Accessibility Statement

Seldorin Amber LLC aims to make our online shop usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing part of how we review the storefront, product information, and customer support.

Our approach

We work toward clear language, meaningful page structure, readable text, descriptive image alternatives, visible keyboard focus, and controls that can be operated without a mouse. Custom artwork and visual product information may need additional description; we welcome requests for the details you need to make a decision.

This statement is not a claim of a completed independent audit or certification. Accessibility can vary across devices, assistive technologies, and third-party services, including Shopify checkout and enabled payment providers. If a third-party step creates a barrier, tell us so we can help and raise the issue with the provider where appropriate.

Report a barrier or ask for help

Use our contact page or call (775) 764-9509. If a form itself is difficult to use, the phone provides another way to reach us. Our business mailing address is Seldorin Amber LLC, 900 E Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807.

If you can, tell us which page or task caused difficulty, what you were trying to do, and the type of help or format that would work for you. You may share your browser or assistive technology if useful, but you do not need to disclose a diagnosis or other sensitive information.

What happens next

We will review the issue, try to provide the information or assistance needed to complete the task, and consider changes that address the underlying barrier. We can discuss an alternative accessible way to obtain product details or submit an inquiry where reasonably available. We do not charge an accessibility assistance fee.
